Staff Picks: Karen’s Favorite Bieber Products

To close out 2012, we asked library staff members to write lists–of anything they want. Today we feature Karen Cherone’s favorite Bieber products.

Karen is the Circulation Services Supervisor at Cudahy Library.

Favorite Bieber Products

1. His music.
One friend introduced me to him because her students were obsessed (she teaches junior high). His songs were catchy, it wasn’t long before his music turned up on my iPod and incorporated in my running playlists. And now, every time I see this friend there is some mention of the Biebs, usually with one of his songs played and us busting out into a dance party.

2. His movie.
How great was it?! Okay, to be fair, I haven’t seen it yet. It’s totally in my Netflix queue, And I can only imagine that the viewing will be epic!

3. His perfume.
When did I find out about his perfume? When my 12 year old niece got some for some reason or another. I will say, I was not a fan of how it smelled. Then again, I’m not a 13 year old girl who is probably the target audience.

4. His toothbrush.
I can’t actually bring myself to buy it. However, one of my friends (a different one from the one who started this whole craziness) will occasionally talk about it. How awesome would that be? Not only would I know I’d be brushing for the recommended 2 minutes, but I’d get to rock out to some Biebs while doing it.

5. His notebooks/folders.
Is there a better motivator to go back to school? I didn’t think so.

6. His tote bag.
I didn’t even know this existed until right now. But I think I need one to carry groceries home in.

7. His t-shirts.
Maybe I’m only speaking for myself here, but who doesn’t love a shirt with someone’s face on it?

8. His wig.
Dude is a Halloween costume!

9. His doll.
First Andy Cohen (Bravo’s Executive Vice President and host of Watch What Happens Live) has one on display in the club house. And second, who doesn’t want to have a doll made in their image? Isn’t it some unwritten law that when that happens you’ve really made it? I mean look at New Kids on the Block

10. Life size cutout.
YES!!! Personally, I think the library should invest in one of these to remind students that certain areas are “Quiet Zones” for studying.

Disclaimer: I do not work for or with Justin Bieber. Nor do I have any relation to him. I also do not take full responsibility for my Bieber knowledge, friends and family have helped contribute. Although I will admit to feeding into it occasionally.
