Join the University Libraries Diversity Committee for its Diversity Poetry Project in celebration of National Poetry Month in April. We want to highlight the diversity of poetic voices in the Loyola community.
Please share your talents and submit poems by Thursday, April 1. Submitted poems will appear throughout the month of April via the Libraries’ social media. Any original poem will be accepted. Please limit the length of your poem to 500 words.
Some prompts you may want to consider:
“If you walked a mile in my shoes”
“Who I am”
“This is what I believe”
“The change the world needs”
When submitting your poem, please include:
- Your name
- Class Year
- Title of your poem
- If you would be interested in later submitting an audio recording of you/someone reading your poem for a future project.
- If you would be interested in later submitting a video recording of you/someone reading your poem for a future project.
