Alumni Authors Collection artwork

The University Libraries is grateful for Stephen Titra’s gift of his original artwork to represent the Alumni Authors Collection. Stephen (BS 1968) has been a painter, illustrator, musician and artist-in-residence for his entire professional life. He is also an author and illustrator of Be Nice to Spiders, be Kind to Snakes: And 26 Other Songs.

We invite you to visit us at the Loyola Information Commons/Cudahy Library at the Lake Shore Campus to view Stephen’s artwork as well as browse through the Alumni Authors Collection. You are also welcome to view a special display of this collection at the Water Tower Campus, Lewis Library.

About the Alumni Authors Collection
Unveiled October 2022, the Alumni Authors Collection currently features more than 1,100 books published by Loyola graduates. It evolved from the alumni authors catalog developed over the past decade by Peter Gilmour, DMin, professor emeritus and Friends of the Libraries advisory board member.
