She will trace her family\u2019s trials and tribulations through two destructive wars \u2013 the war of liberation against French colonialism and the Vietnam War \u2013 which sliced through Vietnam\u2019s modern era.  Elliott will discuss the difficult choices facing her family as they confronted the turbulent events which at times split them apart and sent them fleeing into an unknown future.
