Award winning poet Angela Jackson will discuss her first novel, Where I Must Go . Set in the late 1960s, this story takes place in an unnamed city and follows an African American student to the elite, fictional Eden University. It is a coming-of-age tale in post-Civil Rights Act America with combustible questions about identity that still loom large today.
