Brill’s Encyclopedia of the Qur’an provides entries on the content of the Qur’an and subjects in Qur’anic studies. The online edition is the latest Brill encyclopedia to be added to the selection of online reference sources made available to Loyola researchers which include the Encyclopedia of Islam (both the complete second edition and the partially complete third edition) and the Encyclopedia of Women & Islamic Cultures. Each of these encyclopedias may be accessed using the Databases List by Title or the Islamic World Studies Subject Guide.
