Looking for public opinion data? Join us for a free hands on workshop to learn about the various services available through the Roper Center. Coverage includes detailed search strategies for using iPOLL and the Catalog of Dataset holdings and reviews the interactive functionality of the databases. It reviews the various options to obtain crosstabulations using iPOLL, RoperExpress and RoperExplorer—an online data analysis tool that requires no programming!
The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research is one of the world’s leading archives of social science data, specializing in data from surveys of public opinion.
All classes are approximately one hour and will take place in the Klarchek Information Commons IC120 unless otherwise noted. All classes are free and open to students, staff and faculty. Reservations are not required, but space is limited. To reserve a space please send an email to cud-ref@luc.edu.
