GROUP STUDY ROOM RESERVATIONS
There are 25 group study rooms located on floors 2 and 3 of the IC. You can reserve a group study room on the IC website or at a kiosk station. Kiosks are located on floors 1- 3, and rooms may be reserved for 2 hours a day per login.
LIBRARY WEBSITE
A good place to start your research is the tab labeled “Research Guides” on the Libraries’ website. Click on that tab and select a subject you might want to major in from the menu. Each subject guide has the name of a librarian who specializes in that topic – you can e-mail this librarian whenever you have a question or need some help with your research.
WRITING CENTER (find it on the IC 2nd floor)
Our main goal at the Writing Center is to help you become a better writer. Our tutors are available to help you at any point of the writing process—from brainstorming, to organizing, to putting the final touches on a bibliography.

RESNET (find it on the IC 2nd floor)
ResNet is a complimentary “best effort” technical support available for Loyola students. You can bring in your computer and devices to be serviced while you wait. Students can get assistance with problems like internet connectivity issues and system file recovery.
Q: Can you leave your device for repair to be picked up later?
A: No, drop-off service is not available. Students must remain with their item.
REFERENCE DESK (find it on the IC 2nd floor)
Librarians here can help you get started on a new research project, find the answer to a tricky question, or track down an article you need for class. You can contact a librarian via text message, phone, e-mail, or in person at the Reference Desk. You can even get reference assistance 24 hours a day via our AskLive online chat service.
DIGITAL MEDIA SERVICES (IC 207) (find it on the IC 2nd floor)
Digital Media Services provides one-on-one and online support for an array of digital media topics. We provide access to an Equipment Loan Program, web and desktop applications, as well as digital media workstations for the creation of coursework, projects, and presentations for the University.

DONOVAN READING ROOM (find it on the 1st floor of Cudahy Library)
This room is a very quiet space, so it’s a great place to get some serious studying done. Along the north and south walls of the room, you can also find rotating exhibits from the University Archives.
Q: On the west wall is a large mural that depicts the Jesuit missionary activity in the Great Lakes region and Upper Mississippi valley in the 17th and 18th centuries. What are the names of the three lakes in the mural?

LIBRARY DVD COLLECTION (find it on the 1st floor of Cudahy Library)
Cudahy Library offers a wide array of popular and educational films available on DVD. Items are shelved in alphabetical order by title and can be checked out for 3 days. If you’re not on campus, future reservations for DVDs to be held for you at the Circulation Desk can be made through the Libraries’ website.

This is the central service point for the library. All materials, including books, audiovisual materials, course reserves, and Intercampus or Interlibrary Loan requests can be checked out here.

MAIN STACKS (find it on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Cudahy Library)
You can find information on books and periodicals by using our online catalogs, Worldcat Local, or Pegasus. Three key pieces of information are needed in order to ensure that you find the exact book or periodical that you’re looking for: location, call #, and status.
