The University Libraries is testing a new service this Spring 2015 semester and will have selected textbooks available for borrowing! This is only a pilot program so not all textbooks will be available.
How were the textbooks chosen?
The 50 classes with the highest enrollment were reviewed. If the same book was used across all of the sections, that text was purchased for the pilot project.
Where are the textbooks located? You can ask for available textbooks at the Circulation Desk in Cudahy Library (first floor).
How long is the loan period? Books can be checked out for two hours and cannot be renewed. Textbooks must also remain in the building.
Why isn’t my class included?
Your class may not be one of the classes with the highest enrollment numbers. Or, each section of your class might be using different books. Lastly, your professor may not have given textbook information to the bookstore.
We want to hear from you! Do you have questions, concerns, compliments? Please send any feedback you’d like to share with us to cud-circ@luc.edu.
Below is a list of classes/textbooks included in this pilot program. This is not a complete list, but the majority of classes are in the sciences or business subjects:
