Learn about the basics of this traditional part of the Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration! We’ll have sugar skulls to decorate and test your artistic skills, and we’ll have a conversation about the importance of the altar during this traditional Mexican celebration. When all of the skulls are decorated we’ll put the altar together in a display case in the Information Commons for the duration of the celebration for all Loyolans and visitors to check out on the first floor. Come join us, get artistic, and leave a small tea light candle in remembrance of a loved one.

I wish the timing was better so students could attend it in between classes. Can’t miss classes unfortunately.
