Election Research (VoxGov)

VoxGov is an incredibly powerful aggregator of political information, combining legislative information, official press releases and even social media postings for the US government. This workshop will show how to use VoxGov for election research, how to learn what the candidates are saying, how it compares to their records and how to follow candidates in the long haul. PsycINFO: Introduction to Effective Searching

Learn about PsycINFO, the premier database for psychology research. This session will provide a basic overview of PsycINFO search techniques. This workshop will be of most interest to those who are new to the PsycINFO database, but it may also provide a useful review for those wishing to update their PsycINFO search skills. Be a Webmaker

So you use the internet all the time, but do you ever make the internet? Get acquainted with Mozilla’s Webmaker and learn the basics of HTML and CSS. Even if you are not interested in making websites this course will give you a better understanding of how the internet works and what you can do with it.
