In January we’ll be updating the look and feel of our library catalog, as well as adding some new features. The catalog will work better on mobile devices and get you to the top-used resources more quickly. Start typing in your search, and you’ll get some suggested searches and information types to choose from. Once you pick an item, click on it and get all the information about the item in one screen, and quickly browse through other suggested items. Save the item to your favorites, and tag and sort items more easily.
You can start using the new catalog libraries.luc.edu/newcatalog, and starting January 5, 2018, this will become the default view for the catalog. The old version will remain available to you to use for a long time, so you can go back to it if needed.
