Join us for #GivingTuesday

#GivingTuesdayLUC

Giving Tuesday, or more commonly known as #GivingTuesday, occurs on the first Tuesday in December.  In 2012 the New York 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation created the awareness day to inspire people to do good for others.  The day became increasingly popular across the world as an international day of charitable giving, helping others, and celebrating generosity.

Loyola University Chicago Libraries joins the world in celebrating this annual day of giving.  We know, however, that Loyola students, faculty, staff, and alumni exemplify the tenet of generosity and Ignatian values of being a person for others every day.

In the next few days, we invite you to join us @LUClibraries or @librariesLUC on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram as we post fun facts, photos, and quotes about the University Libraries and how it is making a difference in supporting learning, teaching, and research. We also want to hear from you! Tell us the moment you realized that the University Libraries is a special place. Lastly, please remember to let your friends know about this movement and use #GivingTuesdayLUC. Even after December 1, we hope that you will stay connected with us. We are here for you.

THANK YOU
Whether you have generously made a gift or shared your time and talents, the University Libraries faculty and staff want to thank you for supporting our vision to be Loyola’s gateway to the world of information and scholarship.

SUPPORT THE UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES
