Over the past year, the University Libraries has participated in the HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service, to provide access to digitized copies of print books in our library collection. This emergency service is intended for use only during those rare times when the library collection is inaccessible. With all of our library buildings fully reopened, we will be ending this service on September 7, 2021. The Libraries will remain a member of the HathiTrust, which offers many benefits to member libraries.
This change will mean that books that are under copyright will no longer be available for full text access in the HathiTrust Digital Library. However, books in the public domain will remain available. If you need an e-book edition of a book in our collection, please complete our online purchase request form. Due to a number of factors, we are not able to fulfill all e-book purchase requests, but we will make every attempt to do so when possible.
