The University Libraries Audio Visual Services Department Presents:
Star Wars: The Snowflakes Awaken
Wednesday, December 2
Klarchek Information Commons First Floor, 2-4 PM
A LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY…
Artist Anthony Herrera worked furiously in his labs designing only the most delicate and stylish of Star Wars-themed holiday snowflake paper craft patterns. Due to his belief in sharing creative works he generously made his snowflake templates free for all to use- to create a brighter and more beautiful Star Wars holiday.
Meanwhile across the country: two library student employees, Joe and Haneen, plotted out not a nefarious plan but rather a relief from impending final exam stress. They devised a scheme to hold an event in the library using the rebellious Herrera’s plans so that students could drop by and take some of their stress out using Xacto blades and scissors to cut out and craft these galactic snowflake patterns.
So hop on your snow speeder and join us on the first floor of the Information Commons from 2-4pm on Wednesday December 2nd for an afternoon of snowflake crafting that would make a Wookie jealous.
May the Force (and the paper cutting skills) be with you.
