The National Library Workers’ Day is on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. It is a time to recognize all the contributions of the library staff who provide invaluable strength to our community here at Loyola. We are grateful for the amazing faculty, staff, and student workers across the Information Commons, Cudahy Library, Health Sciences Library, Law Library, Rome Center Library, and Lewis Library, who make the libraries exceptional at Loyola. As the American Library Association mentions, “library workers in all types of libraries serve millions of library users in need of free access to Wi-Fi, eBooks, accurate information, and digital social services.”

Let’s celebrate our library workers not just today, but let’s show our appreciation for them every day.
