After 25 years of service, Martha Spring, Head of Serials and Electronic Resources Management (SERM), is retiring from the University Libraries on July 10.
Martha joined Loyola in 2001 and has been indispensable in overseeing our continuing resources and leading the SERM team. The library’s serials and electronic resources department is critical because it ensures that the journals, databases, and digital content are acquired, accessible, discoverable, and usable. Martha’s expertise navigating the intricacies of our department has been invaluable to the Libraries and the Loyola community. She will be deeply missed by colleagues, faculty, and students.
