Dr. Robert Lombardo, a former police officer and current Associate Professor of Loyola University Chicago’s Criminal Justice Department, will discuss his latest book, Organized Crime in Chicago: Beyond the Mafia.
Offering a different view on the emergence of organized crime, Dr. Lombardo explores the social structure of American society and how it aided in bringing the Mafia to life.
