Congratulations to Cassondra Batz and Jill Kreider, winners of the 2014 University Libraries Undergraduate Research Paper Award! Cassondra, a senior from DeWitt, Iowa, won first place and a $500 prize for her paper, “Let’s Take This One Step at a Time: The Effect of Presenting the Brainstorming Rules in Stages on Brainstorming Effectiveness.” Jill, a sophomore from Las Vegas, Nevada, won second place and a $250 prize for her paper, “Prevalence of Menstrual Folk Wisdom in Victorian Medical Literature.”
Dean of Libraries, Bob Seal, announced the winners at the closing ceremony of the Undergraduate Research & Engagement Symposium held on Saturday, April 12th.
