Dr. Alison Lefkovitz, Assistant Professor in the Federated History Department at Rutgers-Newark and NJ Institute of Technology will be coming to speak at Loyola. Hear her speak about the summer she spent at Loyola’s Women and Leadership Archive. While there she explored how activists worked to take the category of gender out of the legal definition of marriage. This is a great opportunity to learn about the redefinition of gender in the United States.
