Join us for an informative program on RefWorks, a web-based bibliographic software that enables you to organize your research, include in-text citations while you write your paper, build a bibliography in a variety of citation styles, and Import references from many data sources. This intro workshop will cover how to set up your account, add your citations, importing and exporting references, and creating bibliographies. This workshop will teach you how to perform advanced searches in JSTOR and provide an introduction to Data for Research, JSTOR’s new platform for text analysis.

Journal Impact Factor: Concepts and Sources

The Journal Impact Factor is the most widely recognized measure of the relative research impact of individual journals. This workshop will include an overview of the Journal Impact Factor, as well as alternate approaches for measuring journal impact, such as the Eigenfactor score, Google Scholar Metrics, and article acceptance rates.
