It seems like nearly every day there\u2019s a new report of a data breach or hack. We\u2019re all familiar with the instant panic that sets in: \u201cWhen is the last time I used that product or service?\u201d \u201cWhat\u2019s my password for that?\u201d \u201cDid I shop there?\u201d Even if it\u2019s not a hack it seems that misuse of our private data is always in the news. At the Loyola University Chicago Libraries we\u2019re striving to limit the amount of data we collect from you so your information can be better protected. <\/p>\n
Protecting the privacy of our users is one of the core values of the Loyola University Chicago Libraries. This has always been true, but now for the first time we have a written policy available on our website that outlines our commitment to privacy, details the information we collect and how it is used, and tells you how to get access to the information we have about you. <\/p>\n
