Venture past the Connections Caf\u00e9 to enter Cudahy Library and the many different study spaces we have to offer.<\/p>\n<p>First, let\u2019s look at <strong>QUIET STUDY AREAS<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Donovan Reading Room<\/strong> is on the first floor of the library and offers a large and open space for you to study quietly.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>lower level of Cudahy<\/strong> is also a designated quiet study area with plenty of tables and chairs to set up for a long study sesh.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Main Stacks<\/strong> and <strong>Stack Decks<\/strong> can also be used as a quiet study space, but you may experience some foot traffic and quiet discussions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Second, <strong>GROUP WORK AREAS<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lakeshore Lounge<\/strong> is at the entrance of Cudahy and has large tables that can be used by individuals or groups. Since it is right at the entrance, this is not a designated quiet study area due to the high volume of traffic.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>first-floor group work area<\/strong> is nestled between the Circulation Desk and our Popular Reading shelves. The area has large tables that can accommodate your group to either study for a test or work on a school project. Computers are also available for students to either work independently or with one another<\/li>\n<li>The library has <strong>group study rooms<\/strong> on the lower level, second and third floor. These rooms can be checked out at the Circulation Desk, but we must see two Loyola IDs and students when checking out a room<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>mezzanine on the lower level<\/strong> is another popular group area due to the large tables and whiteboards (you can check out markers and an eraser at the Circulation Desk).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Group work areas are meant for discussions, however, we ask that conversations remain at a respectable level.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions about quiet or group work areas, please ask us at the Circulation Desk!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cudahy Study Areas The Information Commons isn\u2019t the only study space along the lake!
