\n<\/p>\n

\uf0d8 I heard a fly buzz (Emily Dickinson)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

\uf0d8 Because I could not stop for death (Emily Dickinson)<\/a><\/strong>
\nI learned these two Dickinson poems (and many others) in 11th grade and had them memorized for decades. Go Cleveland Public School education!

\uf0d8 When Night\u2019s Black Mantel Could Most Darkness (Lady Mary Wroth)<\/a><\/strong>
\nI wrote my first seminar paper at Loyola on this poem. Only got a B+ \ud83d\ude41 <\/p>\n

\nThese last two Yeats poems are pretty close to my favorites (Eliot wins by a hair)<\/p>\n

\uf0d8 Cuchulain\u2018 s fight with the sea (W.B. Yeats)<\/a><\/strong>
\nI could have added more Yeat\u2019s poems but the list was getting long. \u201cWho goes with Ferguson?\u201d And \u201cFerguson and the Druid\u201d should both be on this list as well. Look\u2018 em up!<\/p>\n
