Without further ado&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;An incomplete list of five very different holiday musical firsts: <\/p>\n<p>1. \u201cJingle Bells\u201d is believed to the first song recorded in space&#8212;at least by humans. On December 16, 1965, as their conversation with mission control and Gemini VII was being recorded, Gemini VI-A astronauts Walter M. Schirra Jr. and Thomas P. Stafford played \u201cJingle Bells\u201d with a harmonica and bells they had smuggled onto their flight. Before breaking into song, the astronauts had some fun with their colleagues back at mission control, stating that they had spotted an object &#8220;going from north to south, probably in a polar orbit.\u201d<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Song from Outer Space\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HqfIEQKnkJU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>  <\/p>\n<p>2.\u201cHappy Xmas (War is Over)\u201d, released in 1971, was the first solo Christmas song released by a former Beatle.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Happy Xmas (War Is Over) John &amp; Yoko Plastic Ono Band Harlem Community Choir (official music video)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yN4Uu0OlmTg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p>3. Bob Dylan Goes Christmas<br \/>\nMuch has been made of the first time Bob Dylan went electric, but what about the first time he went Christmas? Dylan breathes new life into some old favorites with his 2009 album, Christmas in the Heart.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bob Dylan - Must Be Santa (Video)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/a8qE6WQmNus?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>  <\/p>\n<p>5.
