We are delighted to share this story written by rising junior Kamille Minor<\/strong>, one of Lewis Library\u2019s student assistants at the Circulation Desk.  Kamille was one of eleven students selected to participate in the Quinlan School of Business alternative spring break trip.

Every spring break, Quinlan School of Business hosts a trip to a metropolitan city outside of Chicago called the “Quinlan Ramble.”  Students are selected for an opportunity to visit Loyola alumni in their workplaces while also exploring a new city. This year the Ramble was hosted in New York City where we were able to visit Philips Personal Health, McCann Global Health, and Instinet, to name a few.  We were introduced to the different industries and positions currently held by Loyola alumni, and we learned about their individual career tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ramble is a truly unique experience as students are not only able to be fully immersed in a learning environment but also a new city where one can actualize a job or even life.  I for one love NYC and would be happy to work in a new bigger city that holds such a wealth of culture and opportunity.  Throughout the week, we took a boat ride along the Hudson River, explored Times Square, Chinatown, Soho, Little Italy, and The United Nations.  Although this filled our schedules, there is so much more to see and experience in New York.
