\nI learn something new every day. Did you know that there are people trying to cross-breed chickens and turkeys? Helping people with their research can be really eye opening.<\/p>\n
\nI have been working at Loyola since September 2008. I love working in such a diverse environment, and I appreciate the emphasis on service.<\/p>\n
\nBooks, movies, contemporary art, theater, food. I’m a bit obsessed with my two cats, my bulldog, and animals in general. <\/p>\n
\nLots of places in the U.S., including Alaska during the winter solstice. I studied in Italy and have visited France, Spain, and England. I’m making plans to go to Turkey this spring.<\/p>\n
\nLet the Great World Spin by Colum McCann. I would say that it’s one of the best books I have ever read. It’s not very plot-driven, but the thread that holds it together is about the man who walked a tightrope between the World Trade Center towers in 1974. Seeing the documentary Man on Wire definitely enhanced my reading experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
