I have designed and taught an undergraduate course titled &#8220;Zen, Tao, and Confucianism: a Textual and Artistic Experience with the Chinese Tradition&#8221; at the University of Dayton. Part of the inspiration for that course is the inter-religious dialogue which took place between the Chinese scholar John C. H. Wu and the American monk Thomas Merton.
