Her alma mater includes the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) where she received her MSc in Public Policy and Administration, and she matriculated at Oxford University in 2009 under the Department of Sociology, while affiliated with the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing. She teaches the following modules: Gender and Development, Non-Governmental Organisations, and Socioeconomic Governance and Globalisation; and coordinates Public Policy Analysis Project for Masters students. She focuses her research on women and young adults, and their lived experiences in contemporary Brunei.
