Laura Caldwell, J.D., Senior Lecturer in Residence at Loyola
University Chicago’s School of Law, will discuss her first
non-fiction book Long Way Home. It is the story of a man held in
Cook County jail for six years without ever going to trial. She
will also speak about how this man inspired her to found and
direct the Life After Innocence project.

Ms. Caldwell is also the author of eleven novels.
