Tyler Mallory grew up in his mother’s art studio in a small town outside of Atlanta. He began his photography career as a photojournalist in Washington D.C., where a mentor challenged him to try to “Look at everything as if is the first time you’ve seen it.” He takes that approach into every project he works on, relying on wide-eyed curiosity peppered with a little wit and good humor to find surprises both profound and subtle, that might tell a little bit more about a subject and their relation their surroundings.

Now based in Chicago, Tyler’s work includes both location portraiture and documentary projects for a wide variety of clients, from Fortune 500 companies and The U.S. Government to small community non-profits. Curiosity works everywhere.
