U.S. Government Info @ Your Desktop

U.S. Government Info @ Your Desktop, Feb. 18
Looking for information on: U.S. Census data? Key economic indicators? Local crime statistics? What happened in Congress today? Which countries are not safe to travel to?

All of this information is available online, and the key is knowing where to look for it. The United States government is the world’s leading producer of statistical information and the U.S. Government Printing office (GPO) is the largest publisher in the world. The goal of this hands-on session is to provide users an overview of the vast array of government resources that are available to them.

This session will take place on Thursday, February 18, from noon to 1 p.m., in room 120 of the Klarchek Information Commons.
