Welcome Back from the Associate Dean

Welcome back from the University Libraries!

To all returning students, we’re happy to see you back again, and a special welcome to newly transferred students or those returning from study abroad! While spring may seem like an eternity away I can assure you that April will be here before we know it.

As we enter the spring semester together I just want to remind you that the staff of the University Libraries (Cudahy Library, Klarchek Information Commons, Lewis Library, and the Rome Center Library) are all committed to providing you with the best services and resources possible. To that end, we pride ourselves on maintaining the best of the traditional library (strong book collection, excellent reference and service desks, and quiet study/research space) while simultaneously offering robust new services to help you in all the many ways that you learn — e-books and databases, Virtual Reference through texting or IM, research tools for mobile devices, streaming videos, technology rich group study rooms, and more. Whether the tools are new or old, though, the Libraries are here to help you create transformation and learning opportunities throughout your time at Loyola!

Please feel free to contact me with suggestions or comments.
