Join the Commonalities Faculty Dialogue series on the latest e-textbooks

What textbook will you be using next semester? Have you considered not using a textbook or relying on electronic books and resources for your classes? How are iPads and Kindles impacting higher education? Your class? What about e-textbooks?

Stop by and hear Associate Provost Kevin Gillespie, S.J., and other colleagues discuss electronic textbooks. Join us for this enlightening conversation on Friday, February 11, 2011, from noon to 1 p.m., for food and conversation on the fourth floor of the Klarchek Information Commons. Lunch will be supplied; you can supply the conversation!

Please RSVP to Carol Franklin (cfrankl@luc.edu) by Tuesday, February 8, if you plan to attend. Commonalities is an ongoing dialogue in support of teaching sponsored by Information Technology Services, The Office of Learning and Technology Assessment, and the University Libraries.
