Impact factor and citation rates are widely discussed, but how are they determined? This workshop will include an overview of the widely recognized Journal Impact Factor, as well as the Eigenfactor score and the Google Scholar journal metrics, two alternative methods for measuring the relative impact of individual journal titles.
