The Loyola Libraries and LUMA celebrate Halloween with some very Gorey (Edward, that is!) activities. Costumes are encouraged at both events!

CALLING ALL VAMPIRES
Please join us for trick-or-treating (also at Lewis Library!), tarot card readings (using the Edward Gorey Fantod Pack), and temporary tattoos.

After trick-or-treating at the Klarchek Information Commons and Lewis Library, please join us for two special screenings of

Edward Scissorhands
Damen Student Center Cinema
Showings at 8:00 p.m.* and 10:00 p.m.

*Dr. Gillian Bauer, Department of English and specialist in gothic and horror fiction, will introduce the film and discuss how Tim Burton’s work is influenced by the art and writing of Edward Gorey.
