On September 20, 2012, Loyola University Chicago’s Center for Catholic Intellectual Heritage will host a special colloquium celebrating the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council of the Roman Catholic Church. Prominent scholars will present and discuss the living legacy of Vatican II, addressing topics such as ecclesiology, women in the Church, Scripture, and current Council historiography. The colloquium will occur on the 4th floor of the Klarchek Information Commons on the Lake Shore Campus.
