Climate change in the Midwest is predicted to impact weather patterns, public health, agriculture, transportation, tourism and recreation in the region. Some of these impacts are already evident as warmer temperatures increase rates of evaporation and reduce ice-cover in winter resulting in lower water levels in the Great Lakes. Join Dr. Martin Berg, Professor of Biology, for a discussion on the effects of climate change in our area.
Flash Seminars are free, informal lectures on current events or stuff that is just plain interesting. Sponsored by Information Technology Services, The Faculty Center for Ignatian Pedagogy, and The University Libraries.
