Sex. Blood. Intrigue. Fanaticism. These are the associations which have made the Tudors England’s most famous ruling family the subject of bodice-ripping miniseries and fanciful historical romances. On Thursday, February 18 at 6:00 p.m. Royal Historical Society fellow, Loyola history professor, and author of Early Modern England 1485-1714: A Narrative History, Dr. Robert Bucholz will present “An Evening with the Tudors” as part of the Library Speaker Series. Join us as we meet the Tudors in their own words and try to separate the fascinating facts from the fatuous fictions.
