Making with the Internet

So you use the internet all the time, but do you ever make the internet? Get acquainted with Mozilla’s Webmaker and learn the basics of HTML and CSS. Even if you are not interested in making websites this course will give you a better understanding of how the internet works and what you can do with it. This workshop will be of most interest to those who are new to the PsycINFO database, but it may also provide a useful review for anyone wishing to update their PsycINFO search skills. Hacking the Database: Understanding Search Engines for Better Results

Exploring some of the key features of all search algorithms, this workshop will cover how to better use search interfaces from the ubiquitous Google to the new Library Search.
