listen deer heart
we were never silk billows
from a plummeting backpack
snares of woven grass
or unrequited howls
instead there is music
airborne rodents in tragic fur
the knife in the bark
able to stand by itself
what can theatre teach you
about atrocity
nothing we cannot learn in a forest
the almanac says
two can make a circle
we are greedy as hemispheres
our elements alloy
mouths overwhelmed
by impish dark
a roe buck stands up in the light
magnetic north is always red
