I have active research interests in the sociology and social history of religion (broadly understood) and extensive specialist knowledge in new and minority religious movements in modern and contemporary Britain and the modern history of yoga both in modern India and in Europe.
Through my work at Inform, where I am Honorary Director, I am committed to making accurate and evidenced based information on minority religions accessible. In this capacity, I have also researched topics related to a wide range of diasphoric Asian religions and Asian-inspired religions in global contexts.
