Albert M Balesh
Albert M. Balesh (not to be confused with Albert “embellish”) is a recent graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine Physician Assistant Program in Houston, Texas. He lived in Rome, Italy for many years, where he obtained his Doctorate of Medicine and served as a general surgeon. This became the inspiration for the setting of his novel, A BACHELOR PARTY FOR ODYSSEUS. He has written over one hundred medical columns for various national and international newspapers and medical journals, three books of poetry, and a book of medical essays. Balesh recently published an article titled, “Spring Chicken or Goose Cooking?” in the journal, PA Professional, in which he humorously and anecdotally compared and contrasted medical education of today and yesteryear. He now practices family medicine in Fort Stockton, Texas. Balesh’s language skills include Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Latin, and Classical Hebrew. He is currently in the process of writing a sequel to A BACHELOR PARTY FOR ODYSSEUS, a new demonology novel concerning life-everlasting, set in Rome.
