Andrew Higl
Assistant professor of English at Winona State University, USA. Dr. Andrew Higl’s teaching and research focus on medieval and early modern literature, especially Dante and Chaucer. Higl completed his PhD at Loyola in 2009. His book Playing the Canterbury Tales: The Continuations and Additions addresses the additions, continuations and reordering of the Canterbury Tales found in the manuscripts and early printed editions of the Tales. He has published articles on the textual and reception history of Chaucer’s works, which have appeared in The Journal of the Early Book Society, Essays in Medieval Studies, along with several books. He has also written on the relationship between literature and games in the American Journal of Play.
