See What’s New at the Libraries This Fall!

Welcome back! The start of another school year is here, but not to worry, the LUC libraries are ready to help patrons on the road to success.  We are excited to introduce some new resources and services that students, faculty, and staff may find useful in their research needs as well as for their own personal enrichment.  Some of these most recent additions to the libraries include the following:

Worldcat Local -allows users to find out where any book or article is available, locally and globally
Alexander Street Press Streaming Videos -a collection of videos, including rare videos, ranging from American history to the history of dance
Popular Reading Collection -a collection comprised of some of the most popular book titles from the New York Times Best Sellers List
New Mobile Website -find information about the libraries such as hours and events on your mobile device
“Request” button -a faster, easier way for users to borrow library materials
Browsable DVD Collection at Cudahy Library -patrons can browse through hundreds of dvd titles and check them out
Book Paging Service -a new service that makes sure your library needs are taken care of when you don’t have time to go to the stacks
Digital Media Lab at Lewis Library-those who are looking for a digital media lab at Lewis Library need not look far anymore
New Books Shelf at Lewis Library-check out some of the latest books purchased by Lewis Library
