Resource Spotlight: ATLA Historical Monographs Collection

Hayes, J. M., and P. J. Mahon. 1907. Trials & Triumphs of the Catholic Church in America. 1907. American Theological Library Association (ATLA) Historical Monographs Collection: Series 2, EBSCOhost (accessed June 5, 2012).
The ATLA Historical Monographs Collection* provides access to important theological texts. University Libraries acquired access to Series 1 several years ago. We are pleased to add access to Series 2.

Series 2 is focused on books published between 1894 and 1923. Many of the titles in Series 2 document theological scholarship in America and American religious life during the period which included increasing interest and participation in non-Western religions.
For example, this image shows the cover page of a 1907 work titled Trials and Triumphs of the Catholic Church in America. It is a rich history of the Church’s growth from the earliest missions through the end of the nineteenth century.
