Books, pamphlets, and other materials created between the sixteenth and twentieth centuries are collected in Afro-Americana Imprints, an outstanding resource for African-American Studies. The materials in the collection have, until this digital release, been housed in the Library Company of Philadelphia which was America’s first successful lending library. The contents may be searched or simply browsed by genre, subject, author, and other parameters. This collection may be searched simultaneously with other Readex collections such as Early American Imprints. For more information about Afro-Americana Imprints, please contact us.
