On January 18, we will be celebrating the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. The Loyola University Chicago Libraries has created a library research guide to display titles in the collection. The guide also displays titles for the upcoming celebration of Black History Month in February. Titles promoted for the African American Month Read-In, the nation’s first and oldest event dedicated to diversity in literature established in 1990 by the Black Caucus of the National Council of Teachers of English to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month.
