Students, faculty, and staff will continue to have access to newspaper articles through the Libraries’ subscription databases. Over the next year, the Libraries will transition away from direct publisher site subscriptions for several newspapers while maintaining access to their articles through library-provided resources.
What’s changing? Direct publisher site access will end for:
- The Chicago Tribune and The New York Times on December 31, 2026
- The Wall Street Journal on May 31, 2027
- The Washington Post on March 1, 2027
This research guide will help you navigate them and available coverage. Additional assistance is available from your subject librarian.
If an article isn’t available, you can request it through our Interlibrary Loan service for free.
